Job Title: Grounds Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team at Alcop Resource Recycling Inc. As a Grounds Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the grounds of our facilities, ensuring they are clean, safe, and visually appealing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including planting trees, flowers, and shrubs.
  • Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants to maintain their health and appearance.
  • Cut grass and remove litter and garbage to keep the grounds clean.
  • Cart and spread topsoil and other materials as needed.
  • Lay sod or seed to repair damaged areas.
  • Apply fertilizers to promote healthy plant growth.
  • Repair and maintain equipment to ensure efficient operations.
  • Write daily basic progress reports to track your work.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to ensure their health and appearance.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment to ensure efficient operations.
Work Environment:

As a Grounds Maintenance Worker, you will work outdoors in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on attention to detail and client satisfaction.
