Governance Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Governance Project Manager to join our team at Apex Systems. As a key member of our consulting practice, you will play a crucial role in standardizing project management methodologies for a Top Five Bank.
Key Responsibilities:
- Portfolio Management: Develop and implement comprehensive governance frameworks, policies, and procedures that align with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Project Governance: Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of governance processes and identify areas for improvement.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze project data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with project managers, stakeholders, and executive leadership to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or Portfolio Manager, with experience with strategic planning and strategy development, large-scale change management and communications in support of business objectives.
- Experience in the financial services and technology environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of and experience with the practices, procedures, and principles of project and portfolio management.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
