About the Role

Cryopak Inc. is a leading provider of cold chain packaging solutions, specializing in temperature-controlled packaging. We are seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanic Team Lead to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the optimal functioning of factory equipment and machinery, performing necessary adjustments in accordance with established norms.
  • Operate, test, maintain, or calibrate unmanned, automated, servo-mechanical, or electromechanical equipment.
  • Test the performance of electrical, electronic, mechanical, or integrated systems or equipment.
  • Install electrical or electronic parts and hardware in housings or assemblies, using soldering equipment and hand tools.
  • Operate metalworking machines to fabricate housings, jigs, fittings, or fixtures.
  • Fabricate products or components using machine tools.
  • Change parts, install equipment, and repair equipment in accordance with established norms.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and clean equipment as specified in the established schedule.
  • Analyze problems with equipment functioning and make recommendations to improve productivity and equipment lifespan.
  • Ensure all work assigned is performed in accordance with specifications, instructions, requirements, and established safety policies and quality assurance checks per Company policies and requirements.
Requirements
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Professional diploma in Electro Mechanics.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Supervision experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with the ability to bend, reach, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to drive a forklift is preferred, basic computer skills are an asset.
  • Ability to comprehend English (reading and comprehension of the instructions manual).
