Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Planning and Execution

The Project Portfolio Lead will define project objectives, oversee quality control, and lead cross-functional activities to ensure successful project outcomes.

Stakeholder Management

The successful candidate will engage multiple stakeholders, mitigate risk, and communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.

Project Monitoring and Control

The Project Portfolio Lead will monitor and analyze planned versus actual project information for scope, schedule, budgets, and resources, and provide regular status reports to stakeholders.

Project Closure

The successful candidate will conduct all necessary activities to properly close a project, including compiling and providing the closeout report, gathering lessons learned, and creating recommendations for future projects.

Requirements
  • Education

An undergraduate degree in a discipline related to project management, such as computing science, social science, or business.

Experience

Five to seven years of experience in a project management environment, with a focus on delivering technology initiatives and working with Agile principles and practices.

Skills

Formal Project Management Certification, Agile certification, and Change management certification are considered assets. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other SaaS productivity tools is required.

Personal Qualities

Strategic and analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and time management skills are essential for this role. The successful candidate must be able to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines, and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
