Department Sales Manager

Key Responsibilities:
As a Department Sales Manager at Pro Hockey Life, you will be responsible for executing PHL's Brand Purpose to the highest capability. This includes protecting Company Assets, upholding all Company & Business Compliance expectations, and becoming a Community Ambassador partnering with local MHA's. You will also provide continuous feedback and coaching to Store Teams using Store Force Reporting, Daily Huddles, and formal performance evaluation programs.
Store Operations:
You will be responsible for flawless execution of PHL's visual compliance standards, store maintenance, and pricing standards. This includes completing weekly price sweeps and pricing audits to ensure 100% compliance with PHL audit. You will also follow and ensure compliance of all corporate LP, Cash, and Store Audit Compliance, and OH&S policies and procedures.
Training and Development:
You will coach and develop store staff through setting expectations, communication, coaching, feedback, and ongoing support. You will also create development plans and conduct annual appraisals for Part-Time staff members; support and coach to improve any performance gaps.
Leadership and Motivation:
You will continually motivate team performance through recognition programs, store contests, customer compliments, and compensation. You will also maintain PHL performance management expectations (feedback/coaching), including progressive discipline where necessary. You will sponsor and encourage support for community engagement efforts.
