About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and culturally sensitive Financial Advisor to join our team at Scotiabank. As an Indigenous Financial Advisor, you will play a key role in providing exceptional service to our customers and building strong relationships with Indigenous communities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service: Provide proactive and personalized service to customers, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  2. Financial Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans that meet the unique needs of Indigenous customers.
  3. Sales and Business Development: Identify and pursue sales opportunities, building strong relationships with customers and growing the business.
  4. Community Engagement: Foster strong relationships with Indigenous communities, understanding their needs and delivering value-added services.
Requirements
  1. Indigenous Heritage: Self-identify as an Indigenous person (First Nations, Métis, or Inuit).
  2. Financial Services Experience: Proven experience in financial services, with a strong understanding of financial products and services.
  3. Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers.
  4. Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
