Job Summary

This permanent role offers a competitive salary of $40,000 - $50,000 per year, depending on experience, for 35 hours of work per week in English.

As a Facilities Maintenance Professional, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning hallways, floors, and stairs. You will also operate industrial vacuum cleaners, wash windows, and perform minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems.

In addition to these tasks, you will be expected to move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies, as well as perform safety and security checks. You may also be required to water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, and clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Perform minor repairs on appliances
  • Perform safety and security checks
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
