About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing and Communications Specialist to join our team at Safer Roads International. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our organization's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Marketing Strategies
    • Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities
    • Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote our organization's mission and goals
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
  • Manage and Coordinate Events
    • Plan and coordinate events to promote our organization's mission and goals
    • Develop and manage event budgets
    • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure successful event execution
  • Communicate with Stakeholders
    • Develop and implement communication strategies to engage with stakeholders
    • Write and edit press releases, newsletters, and other communication materials
    • Manage and maintain our organization's website and social media presence
  • Provide Administrative Support
    • Provide administrative support to the marketing team
    • Manage and maintain marketing databases and records
    • Perform other administrative tasks as required
Requirements
  • Education
    • College or CEGEP diploma in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Experience
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in marketing or communications
  • Skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office
