Carpentry Foreman/Woman Job Description

Cobrafer Construction Ltd. is seeking a skilled Carpentry Foreman/Woman to oversee our construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising workers and projects, coordinating and scheduling activities, and ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train carpenters, apprentices, and other team members
  • Coordinate and schedule construction activities to meet project deadlines
  • Requisition materials and supplies, and ensure they are delivered to the site on time
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure projects are completed efficiently
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand project requirements
  • Ensure all team members follow health and safety regulations and protocols
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in carpentry or a related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles
