Carpentry Foreman/Woman Job Description

Cobrafer Construction Ltd. is seeking a skilled and experienced Carpentry Foreman/Woman to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of carpentry components, ensuring high-quality workmanship, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of carpenters, apprentices, and other tradespeople
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Requisition materials and supplies, and ensure timely delivery
  • Establish and maintain a safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to meet project deadlines
  • Train or arrange for training of team members
  • Set up equipment and tools, and ensure they are in good working condition
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in carpentry or a related field
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Physical ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
  • Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, and safety glasses/goggles
