We are currently seeking a reliable and physically demanding Heavy Duty Construction Labourer to join our team at Double G Constructions Corp.
About the RoleThis is a permanent full-time position working 35 to 40 hours per week, with English as the primary work language.
As a Heavy Duty Construction Labourer, you will be responsible for various tasks including loading, unloading and transporting construction materials, mixing and spreading concrete and asphalt, assisting in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs, leveling earth to fine grade specifications, cleaning and piling salvaged materials, and removing rubble and other debris at construction sites.
The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, no degree or certificate required, but relevant skills and qualifications are essential. You must be able to work outdoors, at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty environments.
Key Responsibilities- Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials
- Mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt
- Assisting in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs
- Leveling earth to fine grade specifications
- Cleaning and piling salvaged materials
- Removing rubble and other debris at construction sites
- No degree or certificate required, but relevant skills and qualifications are essential
- Experience in construction an asset
- Ability to work outdoors, at heights, in confined spaces, and in noisy and dusty environments
You will be working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, handling heavy loads, and repetitive tasks. Steel-toed safety boots are required, and you must be a team player.
