About the Role
The President & CEO will lead and manage the integrated system of hospitals, programs, and services that comprise Hamilton Health Sciences, a prominent Canadian academic research hospital with a workforce of over 15,000 dedicated individuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive cutting-edge research and cultivate the next generation of hospital professionals through collaborative efforts with academic partners, including McMaster University and Mohawk College.
- Empower a state-of-the-art instance of the Epic hospital information system and an organization-wide continuous quality improvement management structure.
- Consistently achieve accreditation with an exemplary standing from Accreditation Canada.
- Bring a deep commitment to community and patient-centred care to the organization.
- Create an environment where everyone who interacts with HHS feels included, safe, and respected.
Requirements
- Multiple years of success as a strategic senior leader and visionary, with extensive experience reporting to a Board of Directors, ideally in a healthcare environment.
- Exceptional knowledge and insight into Ontario's evolving health care system.
- Academic preparation at the Masters level, or equivalent.
