Marketing Communications Specialist

**About the Role**
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Marketing Communications Specialist to join our team at Jeanne & Peter Lougheed Performing Arts Centre.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote our events and programs.
- Oversee the preparation of public written materials, including reports, briefs, and website content.
- Prepare written material such as press releases, newsletters, and communications materials.
- Perform administrative tasks and provide support to our team.
- Act as a spokesperson for our organization and respond to written and oral inquiries.
- Initiate and maintain contact with the media and conduct online marketing, E-commerce, and website promotions.
- Develop marketing strategies and establish marketing programs.
- Arrange for sponsorships from public and private organizations.
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in marketing communications or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
