About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pharmacy Specialist to join our team at Safeway.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional patient-centered care, exceeding patients’ expectations in a fast-paced community pharmacy environment.• Conduct clinical services, including chronic health condition monitoring and management, medication reviews, health risk assessments, and prescription renewals or modifications.• Develop and implement care plans, ensuring comprehensive understanding of medication and personalized interactions with patients.• Provide patient counseling, tailored to the needs and concerns of each patient, ensuring comprehensive understanding of medication.• Offer personalized interactions and interventions, promoting medication adherence and optimal health outcomes.• Foster strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and community partners, embodying the values of Safeway.• Adhere to and implement all applicable company standards, ensuring exceptional patient care and a safe working environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy from a recognized institution.• Licensed Pharmacist in the province of responsibility.• Authorization to Administer Injections.• Excellent attention to detail, ability to multi-task, and work independently in a fast-paced environment.• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient-centered care.
