Job Title: Research Coordinator

Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking a highly skilled Research Coordinator to support a 5-year research study in youth and adolescents with mental health multimorbidity.

Job Summary:

The Research Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring the effective coordination of recruitment, characterization, and retention of participants during this longitudinal research study. The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Psychology or a related field and two (2) years of experience with research studies targeted towards youth, young adults, and/or families experiencing mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate day-to-day operations of the research study
  • Recruit and screen study participants
  • Schedule participant interviews and administer structured diagnostic interviews and clinical scales
  • Maintain participant records and data entry
  • Prepare data for progress reports, research grant applications, presentations, and peer-reviewed research papers
  • Support the scheduling of research study visits and facilitate the training of other staff and research trainees on all study procedures
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Psychology or a related field
  • Two (2) years of experience with research studies targeted towards youth, young adults, and/or families experiencing mental health challenges
  • Extensive experience providing research administrative support, problem-solving, and coordinating quantitative data collection
  • Experience coordinating large-scale or multi-site studies is preferred
