The University of Toronto's Temerty Faculty of Medicine is a global leader in groundbreaking research and education. We are seeking a highly skilled Research Administration Coordinator to join our team.

About the Role:

The Department of Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine is a hub of excellence, innovation, and high academic productivity. As Research Administration Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in facilitating research grant submissions, developing innovative solutions to aid faculty members, and supporting them in their research projects and initiatives. You will be responsible for keeping well-informed on funding opportunities and resources, coordinating funding application processes, and verifying research funding proposals are complete and accurate.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating research grant submissions and coordinating funding application processes
  • Developing innovative solutions to aid faculty members in their research projects and initiatives
  • Supporting faculty members in their research projects and initiatives
  • Coordinating logistics for meetings, workshops, and seminars
  • Editing funding content, updating CVs, and generating reports

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience
  • Minimum three years' relevant research administration experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Canadian funding opportunities and ability to provide relevant information and resources
  • Knowledge of the Temerty Faculty of Medicine and its affiliated hospital partners
  • Experience supporting the grant application process, including editing grant applications and updating CVs
  • Experience maintaining digital platforms and working with survey tools
  • Experience coordinating event logistics and supporting committees and research initiatives
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, SharePoint, Qualtrics, RedCap, and Survey Monkey
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) with a strong customer focus
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet the demands of a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate will receive a salary ranging from $66,715 to $85,319, depending on qualifications and experience, as well as excellent benefits and opportunities for professional growth and development.
