Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Research Coordinator to join our team at Baycrest. As a key member of our research team, you will play a critical role in the success of our clinical trials.

About the Role

This is a full-time position responsible for coordinating and implementing clinical trials from protocol development to trial close-out. The successful candidate will work closely with researchers, clinicians, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of trials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Protocol Development: Assist in the development of protocols, case report forms, and informed consent documents.
  • Clinical Trials Management: Coordinate and manage all aspects of clinical trials, including recruitment, data collection, and outcome measurement.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and Health Canada regulations.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Work effectively with researchers, clinicians, study participants, and other stakeholders to ensure successful trial execution.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Education: A post-secondary degree in a science or healthcare-related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in research coordination or a related field, preferably in a clinical trials setting.
  • Certifications: GCP certification, Health Canada Part C Division 5 certification, and IATA certification.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong organizational and time management skills.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is approximately $65,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid vacation time.
