Job Title: Executive Chef - Restaurant Management

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at East Side Mario's Newmarket. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled culinary professional to lead our kitchen and drive success in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

About the Role:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for managing all aspects of kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, staff supervision, and inventory control. This individual must possess exceptional leadership skills, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage kitchen operations, ensuring seamless service delivery and maintaining high-quality standards
  • Develop and implement menus that meet customer preferences and dietary requirements
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure excellent performance
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and order supplies as needed
  • Monitor kitchen cleanliness and maintain a safe working environment
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position, preferably in a high-volume restaurant environment
  • Demonstrated expertise in menu planning, food preparation, and kitchen management
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Salary Information:

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $45,000 and $60,000 per annum, depending on experience. This figure is based on industry standards and takes into account the location and requirements of the role.
