The Opportunity

This role provides an excellent career-building opportunity in a growing organization. You will be part of a dedicated practice group that offers portfolio management and financial consulting services to high-net-worth individuals.

You will support a Senior Consultant within an existing practice group and coordinate and guide Private Client Associates. Your responsibilities will focus on supporting relationship management for client families, creating materials for client meetings, and assisting with portfolio management.

Responsibilities

  • Client Relationships:
    • Support a Senior Consultant on relationship management for existing client families.
    • Create, review, and present materials for client meetings.
    • Assist with portfolio management responsibilities for client families on a discretionary and non-discretionary basis.
  • Strategic Investment Planning:
    • Draft and/or review Investment Policy Statements.
    • Present selected planning considerations to client families.
    • Support ongoing advice and analysis related to asset allocation and portfolio construction.
  • Investment Recommendations:
    • Support the recommendation of investment opportunities to client families within their objectives, needs, and overall assets.
    • Coordinate with client families' tax advisors to assess asset placement considerations.
    • Oversee proper investment execution for client allocations in concert with your practice group and internal teams.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry.
  • Completed relevant investment management experience towards registration as an Advising Representative or Associate Advising Representative.
  • Successful completion of the CFA Level 1 exam or CIM designation.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Industry competitive base salary with a performance-based bonus structure (approximately $80,000 - $120,000 per annum).
