IO’s Finance, Technology, and Lending Enterprise Team ensures that IO is a financially efficient and effectively managed organization and that the agency’s finances are monitored, reported, and managed appropriately. The team also manages the infrastructure lending program, which has supported more than $19 billion in local infrastructure development, and IO’s Information Technology and Business Services, providing tools and systems to ensure secure, effective, and efficient operations.

Reporting to the SVP, Lending, the Associate, Loan Portfolio Management will support lending operations on analytics, strategic deliverables, data management and reporting related to Infrastructure Ontario’s $6.3 billion loan portfolio. Partnering across three groups within the lending team (underwriting, customer relations and operations), the Associate will use their capabilities in data analytics, knowledge of credit products and infrastructure financing, and inquisitive mind to deliver programmatic frameworks supporting/monitoring new initiatives, operational efficiency projects, analytics and reporting related to the loan portfolio, and portfolio management deliverables related to loan initiatives and key sectors (housing, long term care, water infrastructure, and other municipal infrastructure needs).

**What You Will Do**:

- Deliver insightful analytics, analytical tools and reporting related to the portfolio and specific programs.
- Transform data (and data management) into meaningful management insights such as the creation, production and maintenance portfolio reporting and analytics including presentation materials
- Collaborate on operational efficiencies by partnering with the Lending leadership team in order to identify and implement tools and process to streamline operational efficiencies and improved processes across the lending operations, customer relations and the underwriting teams
- Conduct strategic research and portfolio analytics related to programmatic solutions.
- Research key sector trends such as housing, long term care, water infrastructure, and other municipal infrastructure needs and relevant metrics (eg. environmental, social, housing attainability) related to infrastructure lending
- Participate on occasional strategic lending projects involving external advisors (management consultant, client survey, system/tool selection) and internal lending partners (legal, credit risk, finance) Create tools, templates, data to track transactional portfolio data such as ratings, restructuring, covenants changes/waivers and other portfolio actions**Who We’re Looking For**:

- A few years experience in a similar role within commercial lending, or credit risk.
- Experience using programmatic frameworks and tools (MS Excel expert level) for supporting/monitoring new initiatives, operational efficiency projects, analytics and reporting related to credit portfolios.
- Strong understanding of credit portfolio management and portfolio data analytics deliverables.
