About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Counter Attendant to join our team at Tim Hortons Whitehorse. As a Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and safe environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet and serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers, following health and safety guidelines.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and safe environment, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment, utensils, and work areas.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives, providing support and assistance as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a customer service or food service role.
  • Certifications: CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Food Safety Certificate, and Safe Food Handling certificate.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and physical stamina to stand for extended periods.
