About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Counter Attendant to join our team at Tim Hortons Whitehorse. As a Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner, take orders, and serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Cash Handling: Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments.
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and package food and beverages, including operating a dishwasher and sanitizing equipment.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service or customer service role.
  • Certifications: CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, Food Safety Certificate, and Safe Food Handling certificate.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and physical stamina to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs).
