About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Counter Attendant to join our team at Tim Hortons Whitehorse. As a Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a clean and safe environment for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and Sanitize Equipment and Surfaces
    • Clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units
    • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs
  • Operate Kitchen Equipment
    • Load buspans and trays
    • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware
    • Place dishes in storage area
  • Prepare and Serve Food and Beverages
    • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
    • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
    • Scour pots and pans
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies
    • Keep records of the quantities of food used
    • Package take-out food
    • Portion and wrap foods
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service
    • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables
    • Take customers' orders
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Environment
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment
    • Handle and store cleaning products
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash
