We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Gameplay Animation Delivery Specialist to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely and high-quality delivery of animations through our external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a liaison between our internal Gameplay Animation team and external partners to achieve key milestones and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with Animation Directors and Lead Gameplay Animators to understand, train, and reinforce animation creation best practices, processes, and direction goals.
  • Assist in the onboarding and offboarding of new external partners, ensuring a smooth transition and maintaining healthy relationships.
  • Actively work with our Production team to identify and remove roadblocks with external partners.
  • Promptly review and approve work submitted by external partners, ensuring it meets our quality standards.
  • Ensure that tasks assigned to external partners in project management tools are up-to-date and populated with the required information.
  • Maintain open communication with external partners, including regular check-ins and issue resolution.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in gameplay animation production.
  • 5+ years of experience working with external teams and managing projects.
  • Shipped AAA or equivalent titles in an outsource manager role.
  • Ability to travel domestically or internationally 3-4 times per year for 1-week durations per trip.
  • Excellent understanding of gameplay animation creation steps and requirements.
  • Proficiency in Maya and Motion Builder.
  • Experience with key frame and motion capture animation.
  • Strong knowledge of body mechanics, timing, spacing, weight, and appeal.
  • Self-motivated, creative problem solver, and team player.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Shotgrid, Confluence, Excel, etc.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in Unreal Engine.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year
