About the Role

This is a permanent part-time position in which you'll play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our people, aircraft, facilities, and packages.

Your Purpose

This important role will see you assess and screen packages to prevent and mitigate possible threats. You'll use various screening technology, processes, and procedures to screen packages and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in and verify daily equipment inspections
  • Screen packages and perform secondary searches
  • Safeguard the air cargo network
  • Escalate quality and process issues to ensure they are handled appropriately
  • Monitor general work areas
  • Participate in online and in-person continuous training

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone with:

  • Basic literacy and numeracy
  • A professional interest in safety and security
  • The ability to successfully pass security checks, e.g., background, criminal records, which includes an extended 5-year background check
  • Ability to lift up to 70lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good judgment, decision-making, and good communication skills
  • Diligence and a keen eye for detail
  • Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
