Key Responsibilities:

  • Screening and Inspection: Conduct thorough screenings of packages using X-Ray machines, ETD, and physical searches to minimize security risks to our air network.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations, including those set by the US (TSA) and Canada (TC), as well as UPS standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to maintain a secure and efficient screening environment.
  • Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate documentation and records of screening activities.

Requirements:

  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with team members and management.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly Excel, is an asset.
  • Security and Law Knowledge: Previous experience or education in law and security is an asset.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 70lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Criminal Background Check: Pass a 5-year history check as part of the hiring process.
