Job Description

Precision Human Capital Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with 10-12 years of experience in mechanical engineering in Alberta.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design HVAC systems using TRACE 700 and TRACE 3D software to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
  • Conduct energy modeling and simulations to assess system performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage HVAC projects from conception to completion, ensuring timely and budget-friendly milestones.
  • Provide technical support and guidance on HVAC systems and design considerations.
  • Prepare detailed reports, specifications, and drawings for HVAC projects.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and stakeholders to integrate HVAC systems into building designs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Previous experience providing consulting engineering services, preferably with smaller firms.
  • Experience working on petrochemical, industrial, and manufacturing sector projects.
  • Familiarity with ASHRAE, National Plumbing Code, and National Fire Code.
  • Experience designing heating and cooling systems, including calculations using TRACE 700 or TRACE 3D.
  • Project management and controls experience.
  • Leadership and team-building skills.
  • Ability to prepare technical reports and specifications.
  • Familiarity with contract review and negotiations.
  • Experience managing multiple project scopes simultaneously.
