We are a leading beauty care and small kitchen appliances company, servicing the retail and professional markets in Canada with brands such as Conair, Cuisinart, and BaBylissPro.

Our Cuisinart division is seeking a Creative Design Specialist to manage and oversee all phases of creative development work from concept to completion. This includes web-based, e-commerce, print media, and direct marketing strategy.

The ideal candidate will coordinate with marketing and sales teams to create marketing campaigns for print and online platforms. They will design and create high-quality marketing content, including product development, packaging, digital promotional campaigns, renderings, and mock-ups.

This role involves creating and maintaining digital web content across various e-commerce platforms and uploading digital assets to retailers' e-commerce platforms. The successful candidate will also follow brand guidelines as a "brand guardian" for all digital marketing communications vehicles.

In conjunction with the Director, Digital Marketing, they will manage the division's email marketing campaigns. Additionally, they will assist marketing/sales teams with customer planograms (Prospace Space Planning) and keep up-to-date with changes and advances in social media.

The Creative Design Specialist must interpret various instructions and transform ideas into designs and images that clearly depict the intended message, ensuring accuracy and quality. They will handle large volumes of edits and create content for online/packaging/presentation using advanced Photoshop skills.

This position requires post-secondary diploma/degree in a related field of study and minimum 5 years related experience in design and marketing, preferably in the consumer packaged goods industry.

The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of design principles and branding, as well as strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with team members, stakeholders, and all areas of the organization.

They must have experience using Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Advanced Photoshop skills with image manipulation, colour correction, and display renderings are required.

We offer a hybrid-working environment and an attractive compensation package, including extended health benefits, life insurance, and a defined contribution pension plan. We estimate the salary for this position to be around $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
