Senior Property Manager Job Description


Minto Group is seeking a seasoned Senior Property Manager to oversee the management of our residential properties in Downtown Toronto.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Properties team and external contractors to deliver high-quality services and maintain a best-in-class customer experience
  • Oversee the delivery of a best-in-class customer experience through the administration of tenancy/guest relationships in our luxury furnished and unfurnished suite portfolio
  • Understand and assist in leading the implementation of business strategy for the portfolio, including developing and implementing budgets annually
  • Review monthly financials, forecast inputs, and variance commentary to ensure efficient financial management
  • Stay up-to-date with Residential Tenancies Act requirements and regulations related to landlord rights and obligations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sustainability, Revenue Management, Asset Management, Leasing, Project Management, and Central Services to deliver an exceptional customer experience
  • Perform all facets of the job in accordance with relevant legislation, including Residential Tenancy Act, Health and Safety standards, WHMIS, AODA, PIPEDA, and Human Rights


Requirements and Qualifications

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Senior Property Manager with:



  • A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant work experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of residential properties legislation and regulations
  • Ability to understand basic financial management procedures, including expenses and revenues
  • Strong decision-making skills, initiative, and creativity
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), Outlook, and Yardi
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Estimate Salary

The estimated salary for this position is around $110,000 - $130,000 per year, based on industry standards and considering the location, responsibilities, and required qualifications.
