Job Title: Clinical Systems Educator

Job Summary:

The Clinical Systems Educator is a key member of the Bayshore HealthCare team, responsible for providing training and support on clinical documentation systems and other healthcare technologies. This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare technology and the ability to communicate complex information to staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver training programs for staff members on clinical documentation systems and other healthcare technologies.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to staff members on the use of clinical documentation systems and other healthcare technologies.
  • Collaborate with the clinical operations team to update training materials and methodologies to reflect current field practices and system statuses.
  • Modify and configure clinical documentation systems as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing internal and external continuing education activities to stay up-to-date on the latest healthcare technologies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or relevant field.
  • Current valid license as a registered nurse or registered practical nurse.
  • Adult learner/education certificate or training, or willingness to obtain within 2 years.
  • Health informatics certificate or willingness to obtain within 2 years.
  • Valid G driver's license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience as a regulated health professional in home care/acute care settings.
  • Previous experience assessing patients and training and mentoring staff members.
  • Experience leading or participating in change initiatives and familiarity with project management principles.
