Job Title: Clinical Systems Educator

Job Summary:

The Clinical Systems Educator is a Subject Matter Expert responsible for providing training on clinical applications to staff within Integrated Care Solutions at Bayshore HealthCare. This role supports project coordination of digital products and requires strong knowledge of clinical documentation systems, interRAI assessment tools, and other Bayshore applications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Train new and existing staff on clinical documentation systems, interRAI assessment tools, and other Bayshore applications.
  • Prepare support materials, such as user guides and educator guides, for existing and new applications.
  • Partner with clinical operations and digital health teams to update training materials and methodologies.
  • Modify and configure systems as needed.
  • Develop and conduct training sessions as required.
  • Create, update, and communicate training schedules to ICS staff.
  • Analyze feedback from ICS staff and provide input to improve training methodologies and initiatives.
  • Troubleshoot device and application issues, providing guidance to users.
  • Participate in ongoing internal and external continuing education activities.
  • Learn new applications to update training materials and provide training on newly acquired applications.
  • Participate in project implementations from a training perspective as required.
  • Provide project management support, applying standard project management best practices and methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or relevant course of study.
  • Current valid license as a registered nurse or registered practical nurse.
  • Adult learner/education certificate or training, or willingness to obtain within 2 years.
  • Health informatics certificate or willingness to obtain within 2 years.
  • Valid G driver's license.

Experience:

  • Experience as a regulated health professional in home care or acute care settings.
  • Previous experience assessing patients and training and mentoring staff of various ages.
  • Experience leading or participating in change initiatives and familiarity with project management principles.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritize demands, anticipate challenges, and actively problem-solve to develop a resolution.
  • Strong organization, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members from various disciplines.
