About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Logistics Coordinator to join our team at BANSAL LOGISTICS INC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and Pick Up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, ensuring timely and efficient service to our customers.
  • Operate and Drive automobiles, vans, and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products, adhering to safety protocols and company policies.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service by being professional, courteous, and responsive to customer needs and inquiries.
  • Receive and Relay Information to central dispatch, ensuring accurate and timely communication.
  • Record and Maintain accurate records of items received and delivered, as well as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any issues encountered.
  • Prepare, Package, and Restock goods, ensuring they are properly labeled and stored.
  • Load and Unload goods, taking care to secure and protect items during transportation.
  • Sort Packages for delivery, prioritizing efficiency and accuracy.
  • Follow Directions and Read Maps to navigate routes and ensure timely delivery.
  • Use Maps and Other Trip Planning Aids to optimize routes and reduce travel time.
  • Record Trip Information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems encountered.
  • Perform Pre-Trip, En Route, and Post-Trip Inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance.
Requirements
  • Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
  • Local Transportation/Travel Experience.
  • Attention to Detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Ability to Work Under Pressure and maintain a high level of professionalism.
  • Physical Capabilities to perform tasks such as walking and lifting.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
