Territory Sales Representative

DMC Recruitment Group is partnering with a leading building materials manufacturer to hire a Territory Sales Representative for the British Columbia region. This is a high-growth opportunity for further development and penetration within the BC and US market segments.
About the CompanyOur client is a well-established company with a strong reputation and client following. They provide specialty items for residential and commercial applications, offering exceptional service and great quality products.
The RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for developing sales opportunities with existing clients and building new relationships with new customers throughout the British Columbia and US region. This requires a strong self-motivated individual who is focused on relationships and can commit to traveling throughout the region as required.
Key Responsibilities- Pull demand through the local distribution network
- Work with the team to expand and effectively service the region
- Develop sales opportunities with existing clients and new customers
- Provide exceptional products and service to customers, including commercial general contractors, distribution centers, architects, and designers
- 3+ years' experience in an outside sales position, ideally with a network within the British Columbia Region
- Knowledge of the construction industry is key
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings
- Comfortable with cold-calling and possesses a balanced miner/hunter sales mentality
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and intense desire to work in the industry
- High School Diploma Required
- College diploma or post-graduate certificate in industry-relevant program
Salary: $75 to $90K per year plus sales bonus paid monthly, car allowance, benefits, vacation, and more. This is a results-oriented position that demands high-energy, reliability, and personal discipline.
