We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our team at Lakeside Process Controls Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial equipment and machinery.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment and machinery
- Install and commission new equipment and machinery
- Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostic tests to identify and resolve equipment issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operation of industrial processes
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity
- Technician/Technologist College diploma in a related field
- Millwright/Instrumentation Certificate or five (5) years of hands-on experience in valve automation assembly and integration
- Experience in assembling, setting, and testing all types of valves
- Knowledge of instrumentation, millwrighting, machining, and welding
- Knowledge of process automation systems an asset
- Training in the safe use of slinging/rigging, overhead crane operation, and forklift operation, working at heights considered an asset
