About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Banquet Captain to join our team at Four Seasons Resort & Residences Whistler. As a Banquet Captain, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of banquet functions, ensuring seamless execution, and delivering exceptional service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the F&B Manager in ensuring staff adherence to service standards
  • Monitor the overall smooth running of events, both on-site and off-site
  • Foster a strong team environment among staff members
  • Ensure staff engagement and satisfaction in their day-to-day roles
  • Step in and serve as needed during events
Requirements
  • Hospitality education, preferred
  • At least 2 years in a lead server or supervisory role, ideally in a luxury hotel/restaurant environment
  • Strong knowledge and passion for everything food and beverage
  • Strong command of the English language
  • Requires attention to detail and problem-solving skills, as well as a passion for customer service
  • Must be able to obtain a Serving It Right certificate
  • Ability to work in Canada
