Project Manager, Natural Environment Conservation

About the Role
EnviroEmplois is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Manager to join our team in the conservation of natural environments. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, planning, and implementing projects related to property acquisition and management, as well as securing funding from public and private sources.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement project plans, including budgeting and resource allocation
- Secure funding from public and private sources, including grant writing and donor relations
- Manage budgets and prepare project reports for stakeholders, including NAQ, donors, and partners
- Oversee the management of contractors and service providers, including notaries, surveyors, evaluators, and biologists
- Negotiate and acquire new properties on behalf of EnviroEmplois
- Review and revise legal documents, including purchase agreements and other contracts
- Represent EnviroEmplois in external relations and communications, under the supervision of the communications team
- Supervise staff members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in environmental studies, administration, law, or a related field
- Master's degree in a related field (an asset)
- At least three to five years of experience in project management
- Knowledge of law and real estate (an asset)
- Excellent writing and communication skills in French
- Excellent interpersonal skills, proactivity, negotiation, and analysis skills
- Ability to communicate complex information and present in public
