Assistant Project Manager for Natural Resource Conservation

Overview of Responsibilities
- Assist project leaders in strategizing and outreach to identify conservation opportunities
- Prepare essential project documents for land acquisitions
- Help manage schedules and project timelines
- Support project leaders in financial accountability and expense management
- Contribute to the drafting of grant proposals and service agreements
- Engage in administrative duties related to project management
- Compose reports and communication materials
- Conduct assessments of properties earmarked for acquisition
- Perform any other related duties as required
Current Projects Overview
- Acquisition of properties in critical wildlife habitats
- Establishment of conservation areas
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in biology, environmental science, or a related discipline
- Master's degree in biology, environmental science, or a specialized area (preferred)
- A minimum of two years of pertinent experience in resource management (preferred)
- Familiarity with grant writing and project coordination
- Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for travel
- Strong ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently
