Conservation Project Manager

EnviroEmplois is seeking a dedicated and passionate Project Manager, Conservation of Natural Environments to join our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in safeguarding our planet's precious ecosystems.
As a Project Manager, your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of tasks, including:
Key Responsibilities:- Developing, planning, and executing acquisition and management projects aimed at conserving natural habitats.
- Securing funding through the preparation and submission of compelling proposals to public and private organizations.
- Meticulously managing project budgets and providing transparent progress reports to stakeholders.
- Negotiating and finalizing the acquisition of strategically important properties for conservation purposes.
- Conducting thorough reviews of legal agreements and documents related to land acquisitions.
- Representing EnviroEmplois in external communications and fostering strong relationships with partners.
- Providing guidance and supervision to a team of dedicated conservation professionals.
- A Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies or a closely related field is essential. A Master's degree in a relevant discipline would be highly advantageous.
- Three to five years of proven experience in project management, preferably within the environmental sector.
- A solid understanding of legal and real estate principles (an asset).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in French are required.
- Strong interpersonal skills, a proactive approach, and demonstrated negotiation abilities.
- The ability to effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences, both verbally and in writing.
