Job Title: Service Dispatcher

Randstad Canada is currently recruiting for a Service Dispatcher position on behalf of one of our clients in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This is a permanent, full-time role that will start as soon as possible.

Job Summary

The Service Dispatcher will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the Service Department. This includes coordinating customer calls, third-party suppliers, and service technicians to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all dispatched service requests are complete with necessary information before routing to qualified technicians.
  • Provide telephone service to customers, registering and validating their service and install requests.
  • Book appointments as required and assign service requests to technicians.
  • Update systems for ticket and tech tracking, as well as tech resource management.
  • Monitor and address alerts and escalations.
Requirements
  • Ability to analyze customer needs and take appropriate action to resolve issues efficiently and timely.
  • Previous experience in a dispatch role is required.
  • Technical savvy and customer service experience.
  • Team player with good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
