Job Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified and experienced teacher to join our team at Nisga'a Elementary Secondary School. As an Intermediate Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals
  • Teach and engage students in a culturally rich environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians
Requirements
  • Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate
  • Commitment to following the goals and strategies outlined in the school and district framework for enhanced learning
  • Working knowledge of the learning standards, curricular competencies, and core competencies within the BC Curriculum
