We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our team at Nisga'a Elementary Secondary School. As an Intermediate Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of our students.
About the RoleThis is a full-time temporary position starting September 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025. You will be responsible for teaching Grade 6/7 students and contributing to the development of individualized learning plans.
Key Responsibilities- Teach Grade 6/7 students and develop engaging lesson plans
- Collaborate with colleagues to implement the BC Curriculum and assessment practices
- Support students in achieving academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals
- Encourage parent involvement in school and foster a positive learning environment
- Develop and maintain a culturally rich and inclusive classroom

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate (or eligible for)
