Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at Tasty BBQ Restaurant. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and improve daily operations to ensure high-quality customer service and efficient food preparation and delivery.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service and maintain high-quality food standards.
  • Set and manage staff work schedules to ensure adequate coverage and minimize labor costs.
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities, and participate in marketing plans and implementation.
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure the restaurant is running efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment.
  • 30 hours per week.
  • English language.
