Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Owl Pub Liquor Store. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen, ensuring that our food and beverage services run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities- Carry and replace linens, ensuring a clean and hygienic environment for our customers.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, including dishwashers, carts, and waste disposal units.
- Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, maintaining a tidy and welcoming atmosphere.
- Load buspans and trays, preparing for food service.
- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Place dishes in storage areas, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
- Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, ensuring a high level of cleanliness.
- Scour pots and pans, removing food residue and stains.
- Stock refrigerators and salad bars, ensuring a well-stocked and organized kitchen.
- Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, following proper food safety procedures.
- Clean and sanitize the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
- Handle and store cleaning products, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
- Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Remove kitchen garbage and trash, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
- Sharpen kitchen knives, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
- Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, preparing for food service.
