CORCYM, a global medical device company, is seeking a motivated and self-directed individual to join our team as a Preventive Maintenance Technologist. This role requires a strong background in maintenance, design, and fabrication of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment, ensuring all quality, safety, and regulatory policies are met.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance standards and methods for equipment.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement to increase equipment reliability and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Engineering teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the ordering of equipment spare parts and maintain inventory levels.
  • Support calibration activities and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of related experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Technical degree or diploma in a related field.
  • Willingness to develop or obtain 5th Class Power Engineer certification.

Working Conditions:

  • On-site position at our Burnaby, British Columbia facility.
  • Weekday shifts and occasional weekend shifts.
  • Physical demands include kneeling, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
  • Work in a controlled environment requiring special garments and safety equipment.
