About the Clinic:
Foundry's Granville Clinic is a leading provider of youth-focused community health services in Vancouver. Our clinic offers a range of services, including primary care, mental health care, substance use support, and social services, all under one roof.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to youth and young adults in a primary care and mental health setting
- Assess, identify, plan, implement, and evaluate the nursing care required to assist patients in meeting their physical, social, spiritual, and psychological needs
- Develop, implement, evaluate, and revise the plan of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Provide individual and group teaching to patients and families, and make referrals to other identified resources as needed
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients
Requirements:
- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives
- Two years' recent, related experience working with youth and young adults in a primary care and mental health setting
- Completion of the Point of Care HIV Testing course and successful completion of the BCCDC Immunization certificate
- STI Management Certified Practice (or evidence of enrollment)
- Reproductive Health Certified Practice strongly preferred
