As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, the Clinical Lead - Addictions and Mental Health will play a vital role in providing high-quality, client-focused care to individuals seeking support services within Addictions and Mental Health.

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Psychiatric Nurse (RPN) to join our team as a Clinical Lead - Addictions and Mental Health. In this role, you will provide leadership and expertise in crisis intervention, assessment, consultation, referral, medication administration, case management, and treatment to persons experiencing significant mental health difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide evidence-informed and best practices in crisis intervention, assessment, consultation, referral, medication administration, case management, and treatment.
• Teach, counsel, and advocate on behalf of patients and ensure their safety and well-being.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.

Requirements:
• Completion of an accredited Psychiatric nursing education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Alberta (CRPNA).
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant mental health experience.
• A minimum of 3 years direct crisis experience, preferably in a community setting.
• Formal clinical training in triage, intervention, stabilization, and case management skills, preferably in a community setting.
