We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at LAITH MEAT SHOP. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting and preparing meats for sale, ensuring high-quality products for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Cutting and trimming meats to prepare for processing or cutting
- Cutting, trimming, and preparing standard cuts of meat
- Wrapping and packaging prepared meats
- Removing bones from meat
- Weighing meats for sale
- Cutting poultry into parts
- Prising meat products
- Selling meats to customers
- Supervising other butchers, meat cutters, and fishmongers
- Grinding meats
- Training meat cutters
- Slicing cooked meats
- Preparing special displays of meats, poultry, and fish products
- Preparing special orders
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
- Permanent employment
- English as the primary language of work
- 40 hours per week
Our butcher shop is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. As a Meat Cutter, you will be required to work under pressure, standing for extended periods, and handling heavy loads. You will also be required to have attention to detail and hand-eye coordination.
