We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at LAITH MEAT SHOP. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for cutting, trimming, and preparing standard cuts of meat for our customers.
Responsibilities- Clean and prepare meats for processing or cutting
- Cut and trim meats to customer specifications
- Wrap and package prepared meats for sale
- Remove bones from meat and cut poultry into parts
- Weigh and price meat products for sale
- Sell meats to customers and provide excellent customer service
- Supervise and train other butchers and meat cutters as needed
- Grind meats and prepare special displays of meats and poultry
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a butcher shop or meat processing environment
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Our butcher shop is a fast-paced and physically demanding environment. As a Meat Cutter, you will be required to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
