Procurement Specialist for Vehicle Accessories Development

We are seeking a skilled procurement specialist to join our vehicle accessories development team. As a buyer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the development of new accessories for all BRP platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the development of BRP accessories under your supervision, from creation to delivery to the distribution centre.
  • Ensure effective communication throughout the development process between the supplier, engineering team, and planning and quality assurance departments.
  • Develop accessory sourcing strategies by analyzing current or potential supplier ecosystems.
  • Select suppliers in accordance with existing procedures.
  • Ensure that selected suppliers have the necessary capabilities to meet required dates, quantities, and engineering/QA specifications.
  • Manage financial data, such as project margins, for projects under your responsibility.
  • Contribute to the development of an effective accessory supply network.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in procurement and/or project management.
  • Fluency in French and English, both written and verbal.
  • Knowledge of Windows software (Word, Excel, MS Project) and SAP.
  • Good organization, analytical skills, rigour, and autonomy.
  • The ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership, good communication, and negotiation skills.
  • A passion for project management and manufacturing processes.
  • Availability to travel to suppliers.
  • A passion for BRP products.
