About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Janitorial Services Specialist to join our team at 2396698 Alberta Ltd. as a Facilities Maintenance Technician. As a key member of our cleaning and sanitation team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax hallways, floors, and stairs to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse.
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and visually appealing environment.
  • Perform safety and security checks to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens to maintain a visually appealing environment.
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures to maintain a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Work with minimal supervision to demonstrate independence and self-motivation.
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas to ensure a safe environment.
Requirements
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
